The Behavioral Health Professional Train-the-Trainer Course focuses on the delivery of the BHP curriculum using best practices for instructors, as well as a review of the Policies & Procedures for the BHP Training & Certificate Program. Instructor candidates must be employed by a DHHS Provider Agency or School providing Children’s Behavioral Health Services. Applicants must meet the specified qualifications and complete the prerequisites. The BHP Train-the-Trainer Course consists of 3 full days: a Live Day session and 2 trainer days including a teach-back session. An application along with all of the required documentation must be submitted for consideration no later than three weeks prior to the date of the training.
